IS SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

Schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional weekends as needed
Shift: Day shift
Hours: 80h -3-5 years related HIMS System Administrator experience
– Bachelors degree is required
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Demonstrates commitment to the vision, core purpose/mission, and goals of LRMC, modeling the values
and culture.
Maintains, monitors, designs and supports IT and HIMS applications with critical reliability and maximum
uptime.
Responsible for the overall HIMS applications including supporting, evaluating, implementing and
troubleshooting hardware, software, and systems for an Enterprise HIMS environment.
Maintains a high level of service on HIMS systems and anticipates future requirements, trends and changes
to assure curent future customer satisfaction.
Performs troubleshooting of HIMS system problems utilizing management consoles and/or other
troubleshooting tools.
Assists in the creating and maintaining of graphical and text-based documentation and standards.
Assist in configuring and implementing monitoring and management systems.
Available 24×7 for schedule maintenance windows.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Preferred: Advanced knowledge of Project Management and experienced in leading implementation project
teams successfully for large enterprise systems.
Required: Proven work history with demonstrated success in team work and collaboration resulting in a series
of project or program successes. Demonstrates knowledge in relational Data Base management systems,
including but not limited to Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL, and DBS. Unix operating system knowledge related
to installation of environment upgrades and patches. Candidates should possess advanced level of
analytical and presentation skills. Project Management skills required.
EDUCATION:
Preferred: Masters degree preferred in Business Administration, Health Administration, Information Systems,
Information Technology or related field.
Required: Bachelors Degreee (BA, BS, IS or IT or related field).
EXPERIENCE:
Preferred: Ideal candidate will have greater than 5 years experience as a certified HIMS Administrator
with at least 3-5 years experience working in Unix operating system and performing installation/implementation
of HIMS system application and environment upgrades.
Required: Minumum of 3-5 years related HIMS System Administrator experience preferably in a
healthcare working environment. Prior experience with Sybase, Oracle, MS SQL and DB2 databases
is beneficial.
Educaiton program development and presentation experience required. Experience with word-processing,
project management and Business applications required.
