Penn Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking a prn/pool Nursing Assistant. The Nursing Assistant works with and under the direct supervision of a registered nurse with whom she/he is regularly teamed to deliver optimal patient care through the use of the nursing process. The candidate will perform selected procedures or assist with treatments and procedures as skills checklist according to PPMC policy and procedure as delegated by the nurse. Collaborates with the RN to plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care. Documents observations and care rendered in an accurate and timely manner. It is essential that this candidate works in a cooperative and team like manner.


The qualified candidate must possess a High School Diploma, at least 1 year of experience, and CNA certification. Current nursing students who have successfully completed a clinical rotation in a nursing program are also invited to apply.
